Our Work

This strand of our work is about developing support networks and platforms that enable organisations and practitioners to develop practice, showcase work and expand their networks. The main examples of this work are our Platforma – national arts and refugees network; Refugee Week – national festival and the new Pop Culture initiative.

Refugee Week

Refugee Week is an annual, UK wide festival of arts, cultural and educational events that promote the contribution of refugees to the UK.

Platforma, Arts and Refugees Network is a project that provides a national framework for promoting and developing refugee related arts in the UK, and beyond.

Simple Acts

Simple Acts is a participatory programme that encourages (young) people to use simple, everyday actions to change perceptions of refugees in the UK.

Pop Culture

Pop Culture and Social Change is our latest initiative, exploring the potential of pop culture to catalyse social change and action.
